This gentleman was a Canadian farmer and politician during an age when important men had big bushy beards. While it is true that his name is Amos Wright, he is not the real Amos Wright.

This Man Never Owned a Computer

The Amos Wright shown here represented York West in the House of Commons at a time when politicians didn't even have blogs! (How did they raise any money or get themselves elected without blogs?) Mister Wright did such an amazing job, and was such a swell guy, that the Town of Richmond Hill, Ontario named a park after him and turned his house into a heritage center. You should go there sometime and check it out, eh?

Our world is fortunate to have produced a man with a beard like this. He may not be the real Amos Wright, but at least his name is right.
